Proper Feminine Hygiene Disposal for Reduced Contamination

Feminine hygiene products include tampons, sanitary pads, and toilet papers.  In many cases, these are disposed improperly. Used feminine hygiene products such as tampons and sanitary pads contain a lot of bacteria that may harm anybody who come in contact with it.  Disposal of such should be properly observed.

Restrooms are the favorite spot of microorganisms.  It is where waste products from bodily secretions are usually found.  It is important to have efficient trash bins that could promote proper feminine hygiene disposal such as those that have foot pedals to prevent contamination.  One may not want to touch coverings of disposal bins especially when they are not sure if it is safe.

Bodily secretions can be a mode of transmitting microorganisms that could harm other individuals.  Hepa B is an example.  It is transmitted through blood contamination.  Ladies, during menses discharge blood and if they happen to have Hepa B they could harm others if they do not practice proper feminine hygiene disposal.  Toilet papers being used to wipe the feminine area have lots of microorganisms that thrive on it and it is dangerous if some would unintentionally come in contact with these contaminated toilet papers that have been used by women who suffer from sexually transmitted infections.

Hands free trash bins placed in washrooms is a good way to prevent contamination.  Remember that if there is no place to dispose of these feminine hygiene products they can be thrown on the floor which is highly unsanitary.  Washrooms are used by different individuals and not disposing these products properly increases chances of acquiring diseases that are dreadful. Every woman should take part in disposing their feminine hygiene products properly so as to prevent the widespread of microorganisms.
